Solidarity Houston is available to rent for community meetings, events, workshops, classes, artist’s talks, fundraisers, book clubs, potlucks, meet and greets and more. Anyone can book Solidarity Houston’s space for events. We ask that all groups that rent our space help us work towards keeping it an anti-oppressive space.
Fees – For nonprofits and other organizations with funding, we request a small donation for the use of the space, which can be anywhere from $10-$100, depending on your means. For community groups and individuals without funding, the space is always free to use, though donations are welcomed.
Capacity – We are set up to accommodate both small meetings (less than 12 people) and large meetings (capacity is 35 people inside, or 80 people outside), as well as film screenings. We have a backyard that is available for use. Please check the Calendar for conflicts before picking your date and time.
Accessibility and Parking – We have street parking behind the building. We do not have a parking lot. The space is wheelchair accessible. We are not scent/chemical free at this time. There is a children’s section with some toys, books, and art supplies in the space.
